In honor of National Trails Day this Saturday, June 5th, we asked a few of our Trail Creek team members where they love to get outside and enjoy a trail.

From walking along peaceful waterways to sharing their favorite overnight tenting destinations, our team members give their picks for trails and parks in the southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware regions.

"I love visiting First State National Historical Park. It's incredible that within a mile of the hustle and bustle of the 202 corridor is a tranquil, peaceful trail to explore open space and enjoy the beauty of nature."

Joanne

  • Marshall Bridge Preserve - Kennett Square, PA
Marshall Bridge Preserve

"I love walking along the trails at Marshall Bridge Preserve. The Land Conservancy donated a beautiful bench there in honor of Brian and Ed."

Kelly

  • Ashland Nature Center - Hockessin, DE
  • Hawk Mountain - Kempton, PA
  • Okehocking Preserve - Newtown Square, PA
Ashland Nature Center

"I love capturing a beautiful sunset or landscape photo during a hike. Okehocking is a stunning example of preserved open space. Hawk Mountain has some great rock scrambles that are challenging but manageable, and Ashland offers a great hike on a variety of terrain - from small hill climbs to walks along the Red Clay Creek."
