Film Night Returns with a Special Screening of Artifishal at Stroud Water Research Center
Matrixify.appFilm Nights Have Returned!
Trail Creek Outfitters and Stroud Water Research Center held a special free screening of the documentary film “Artifishal” on April 28.

Produced by Patagonia Films, the feature-length documentary is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and a continued loss of faith in nature.
After the screening, Stroud Center's Executive Director, Dave Arscott, Ph.D., provided a Q&A session with members of the audience. Dr. Arscott's research focuses on aquatic primary production, distribution and diversity of aquatic macroinvertebrates, ecohydrology, and the ecology of rivers and floodplains.
We were also joined by local Chester County artists:
- Jackie Henisee of Henisee Pottery, a clay potter who creates stunning ceramics.
- Sarah Atwater of Atwater Designs, an artist who creates beautiful cyanotype creations.

Thanks to all who attended and made this wonderful event possible! We look forward to hosting more Film Nights this year.
