ABOUT STUART UDALL AND THE POLITICS OF BEAUTY
Stewart Udall and the Politics of Beauty a visually powerful film biography of America’s most effective Interior Secretary.
From 1961-1969, Udall added more units to the National Park system than any other Interior Secretary in history, while pushing through Congress much of the significant environmental legislation we now take for granted. Throughout his long life, he fought for racial and social justice, world peace, the arts and protection of the Earth. This film will inspire other Americans to take up the causes that Udall worked for and to protect the beauty of our land.
