You might not recognize him in the grocery store because he’s our “behind the scenes” guy. He balances everything from the checkbook to our marketing strategies, places those special orders that make the service at TCO unbeatable, another company and many children. A true family man… You will often see his offspring working for the store during their breaks from school.

You’ll see her running up and down Route 52 on any given day…ask her what she wears to stay comfortable, and she’ll happily tell you. Some of her favorites are the Lole Essential Cardigan, prAna Veeda Wrap, Patagonia Nano Puff pullover and Ugg slippers. Michelle will travel with the best of them and her favorite destinations include Telluride, Santa Fe, Yellowstone and St. John.

Although you will only see Amy in the evenings, she is very active in the outdoors and can offer advice on everything we carry in the store. Her favorites are Patagonia Atom bag, Smartwool socks and she could not live without her ExOfficio Insect Repellant bandana. She works outdoors in her “real” day job, and has come to appreciate many of the great products from the store. Amy also likes to travel and her favorite trip of late was to Scotland and the Orkney Islands, “Like stepping back in time!”

She loves being outside whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or sitting on the patio enjoying her morning coffee. Her favorite place to do anything outside is Montana and can’t wait until she can visit again. When Ally is not at work, she is checking off hikes out of her “50 Hikes in Eastern PA” book.

You may see David on his bike on Naaman’s Creek Road on the way to Trail Creek for his shift, but during his free time he can be found hiking or biking the many trails in Northern Delaware and Southern Chester County with his friends or his children. When not hiking or biking, David enjoys reading or spending time in his basement studio where he creates story materials that teach about the Quaker faith for his Meetings and Quaker Meetings throughout the U.S.

Hotel California: Cat started in 2004, worked for many years in sales, started the Facebook page, helped with the first 5 Film Festivals and lots of other events.  She left to raise her young and test some other employment opportunities, only to find that Trail Creek is much like Hotel California because of the amazing vibe and excellent products. Back again to help with the new Kennett location, Cat works part-time and loves helping our Kennett community find solutions to their outdoor (or simply style) needs.
